8th Grade Washington DC Trip

Connecting Knowledge with Experience

OCS is excited to provide the opportunity to send 8th grade students on an educational tour to Washington, D.C. in June of 2012. The experiences they will be exposed to while traveling will serve as a life-long lesson and will undoubtedly change their perspective on themselves and their perspective of our nation.

OCS Students Shine in Competitions

OCS students place top in the County, State and National Science Fairs. In 2010, six our students placed top in the county and moved on to the State Science Fair. Two of our students placed first in California. Amna Abassi also moved on to the National Science Fair and was selected as one of the top 300 semi-finalists nationwide.

Located adjacent to Masjid Al-Rahman, Orange Crescent School (OCS) was founded in 1983 by the Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC) as part of the larger vision of serving the Muslim community through a masjid and adjacent school.

Early Childhood Program

Focused on each child's unique talents and needs.

Starting from Toddler Care to Pre-Kindergarten, our early childhood program with a blended Montessori-based curriculum provides a unique balance of structure and freetime to allow children learn, explore, play, and grow.

Our alumni have successfully transferred to top high schools in the area and then been accepted to Harvard, Columbia, Brown, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Davis to name a few.
