Orange Crescent School is accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges, (WASC)
The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, (WASC) Focus on Learning is the protocol used for accrediting OCS. The Focus on Learning, criteria has three components as stated in the WASC handbook.
- The defining of quality achievement of expected school wide learning results for every student by all stake holders.
- Schoolwide interdisciplinary dialogue based on evidence gathering and analysis about what students are doing and producing.
- The development, implementation and accomplishment of a schoolwide action plan.
Orange Crescent School is proud to be one of only a few Islamic Schools with the stamp of Accreditation from WASC. The importance of accreditation is vital to the integrity of OCS as it validates the programs we offer and provides students with transcripts through a viable educational source. Being an accredited institution gives OCS the academic strength and a solid foundation for growth resulting in success for every OCS graduate.
