Science Curriculum

Orange Crescent School strives to give our students a sound foundation in all aspects of science. Students are taught the basic sciences (life science, earth science and physical science) using innovative programs and teaching methods. Wonderful opportunities are made available to students for putting their knowledge to use through programs such as the OCS Annual Science Fair and Young Inventors of America. The science curriculum at OCS engages students to develop their inquisitive abilities and to develop an appreciation of the natural world. Students gain an understanding of the balance of Islam and science, and the Relationships that Allah (SWT) forges in the universe. In addition, our students have consistently won first place medals in science in three consecutive years at the Orange County Department of Education Academic Pentathlon.
