Physical Education Curriculum

Orange Crescent School is the only Islamic private school in Orange County to have a Physical Education Department. We are one of only a few schools in the County to offer P.E. to all students from 1st to 8th grade. The Orange County Department of Education requires P.E. for students in all 7th and 8th grade classes. We offer one period of P.E. to every class from 1st grade to 8th grade, two times a week. We are proud to have Physical Education as part of our curriculum to set the standard for a healthy student body. Our program includes a full range of physical activities to promote health and fitness as prescribed by the National Fitness Report. During the Healthy Students Testing, every student at OCS ranked in the Healthy Fitness Zone. Orange Crescent School is creating a model Physical Education program for both Public and Islamic schools nationwide.
