3A - Saadia Nasir

Dear Parents,

As-Salaam-Alaikum

We would like to welcome you and your child to third grade. We look forward to being your child’s third grade teachers for the academic year 2009 - 2010. By the grace of Allah (SWT), this year will be an enjoyable and productive one for you and your child.

We believe the learning of a child requires the combined effort of both parents and the teachers. It is essential that we work together to ensure the academic and moral exellences of your child. If a child is provided with a nurturing environment he/she will be encouraged to reach that goal.

As teachers it is our goal to help each student realize their potential and strength as well as weaknesses for only through this can a child improve and endeavor towards success. Our classrooms are learning laboratories where children of multiple intelligences can explore and learn at their own level. We set high standards and only accept the best from our students in order to encourage them to find their true academic and moral selves.

We also emphasize the California State Standards in our curriculum and our lesson planning. We integrate the Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLR’s) in our lesson. Students are taught to implement the ESLR’s in their daily lives and activities. We are dedicated to providing a strong Islamic education to support the school philosophy and mission statement. For further information on this and other pertinent topics such as general disciplinary procedures and dress code please refer to the Parent Handbook.

If you have any questions throughout the year or would like to discuss anything pertaining to your child please feel free to call us at (714) 531- 1451 to set up an appointment.

Thank you for your cooperation and efforts. May Allah always bless you and your family, Ameen.

Best of Regards,
