Dear Parents,
    We would like to welcome your child to the fourth grade. We are thankful to Allah (SWT) for the opportunity to serve the Orange Crescent School and community again. We will be able work together as a team as we both have your child’s best interest at heart.
   If a child is provided with a nurturing environment he/she will be encouraged to reach academic and moral excellence. We believe the learning of a child requires the combined effort of both the parents and the teachers so let’s join hands for the benefit of your child.
   Our mission is to provide students with “Academic Excellence in an Islamic Environment,” with our educational programs geared toward the development of our students’ total personality. Please prepare your child with basic comprehension and reading skills that are valuable tools for success in fourth grade. Also you can review the basic multiplication skills and multiplication tables.

STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN SUPPLIES WELL MARKED WITH THEIR NAME, GRADE, AND CLASSROOM NUMBER.

       5 Composition Notebooks (extra will be needed)
      3 pocket folders
      2 Filler paper sheets – College ruled
      1 White Spiral Ruled Index Cards (5 in x 8 in)
      2 boxes of tissues
      1 box of baby wipes
      1 box of Clorox wipes
      1 backpack
      1 lunch box
     
      An Art box with:
      A set of color pencils
      A pair of round- tipped scissors
      A bottle of glue and/or UHU stick
      1 pack of No. 2 pencils
      2 soft erasers
      1 plastic ruler of 6 in. with standard and metric measurements
      2 red ballpoint pens 
      1 good sharpener with cover
       
     Please Note:
• NO mechanical or lead pencils
• No trapper keepers please; there is not enough room in the desk for them.

Please check regularly and replace supplies as needed throughout the year.
