“Helping Teachers Teach and Children Learn”

Dear Parents and Students of Orange Crescent School:

Assalamu Alaikum

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. A quality education is the fundamental right of every child in Orange Crescent School. The school provides many educational services, and it is our responsibility to ensure equal, safe, and quality learning opportunities for all students, pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Therefore, our mission is to help teachers teach and children learn. Remembering our priority of putting teachers and students first drives the school’s daily operations.

Service: We are here to support forty teachers and staff in their daily efforts to educate the 110 middle school, 315 elementary, and 85 preschool students. When making inquiries to Orange Crescent School, you should expect prompt, thoughtful, and courteous responses.

Partnership: We believe that more can be accomplished when we all work together rather than separately. By working with Garden Grove School District, parents, and Orange County Department of Education, we can provide more books, more awards, more grants, and more expertise. This means more, and better, educational opportunities for our students.

Innovation: The way children learn is changing every day. We are committed to using technology in the classroom. We are also working to involve parents and community educators to ensure that students are equipped with the skills necessary for higher levels of education, and lifelong learning

Mission: The Orange Crescent School Board of Education provides leadership and support to help all students achieve excellence.

Vision: The Orange Crescent School Board of Education shall sustain a vision of high skills, creative thinking and love of knowledge, and learning for every student while ensuring student achievement in a safe and healthy learning environment.
